Meet the Founder – Mannu Sharma
This is Mannu Sharma, founder of DDS Interiors.
My journey in interior design started with a simple dream—to create beautiful, practical, and long-lasting spaces for every client. Today, DDS Interiors has grown into a trusted interior design company in Mumbai, delivering thoughtfully designed spaces that combine creativity, functionality, and quality craftsmanship.
In 2012, I came to Mumbai and started learning carpentry work. While working on different projects, I closely observed architects explaining drawings and marking changes on site.
At that time, I realised that I could execute the work, but I wanted to understand the complete design process behind it. That curiosity became the turning point of my career.
I began learning interior design on my own through YouTube and daily practice.
Later, I worked in Saudi Arabia, where I bought my first laptop and spent my free time mastering 2D planning and 3D interior design.
I learnt how proper planning and realistic 3D visualisation can help clients understand their dream space before the work begins.
This experience changed my approach to interior design. I understood that every successful project starts with detailed planning, accurate drawings, and realistic 3D designs.
Today, I continue to use this process in every project because it reduces mistakes, improves communication, saves time, and delivers better results.
On 29 November 2012, I founded DDS Interiors as an interior design and carpentry contracting company.
Our first office was established in Ambernath East. As our business grew, we shifted to Kalyan on 5 May 2013 and later expanded our operations to Vikhroli East to serve more clients across Mumbai.
Today, DDS Interiors offers complete interior design solutions for residential homes, apartments, villas, commercial offices, retail shops, modular kitchens, customised furniture, false ceilings, space planning, renovation, and 2D & 3D design visualisation.
Our major service areas include Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Powai, Kanjurmarg, Bhandup, Mulund, Kalyan, Dombivli, Thane, Navi Mumbai, and other parts of Mumbai.
